02 Centre of Excellence

We’ve also established our very own Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bognor – a dedicated hub designed to empower our teams and shape future talent.

Our Centre of Excellence plays a crucial role in supporting:

  • Trainee Vehicle Technicians on their training journey to becoming fully qualified Multiskilled Vehicle Technicians
  • International recruits as they transition into their roles
  • New site openings with fully prepared teams

The COE provides a structured Trainee Multiskilled Technician programme. All trainees visit the centre in block week training sessions and receive training from our former Multiskilled Technician and IMI Accredited Trainer, Bryan.

03 Our Standard of Excellence

It sets the tone that mediocrity isn’t the goal — excellence is

  • "Always" implies consistency, not just momentary brilliance
  • "Extraordinary" means going beyond expectations, doing more than what’s required

In practice, this means:

  • Delivering client results that exceed all of our competitors
  • Creating standout customer experiences
  • Taking ownership and going above and beyond expectation

Culture & Internal Energy

  • It acts as a cultural compass for the team — a mindset, not just a goal
  • Encourages people to stretch their creativity, push boundaries, and never settle for ‘average’

Internally, this translates to:

  • Empowering you to take the initiative.
  • Encouraging innovation and unconventional thinking.
  • Rewarding bold ideas and extraordinary execution.
04 Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion

We are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. We are an inclusive workplace, where staff respect one another, feel valued for their differences and can be themselves.

We oppose all forms of discrimination, and work hard to promote equal opportunities, foster good working relationships between all staff, and make our people feel like they are valued and supported.

At Halo, we are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace where everyone is empowered to be extraordinary!

What our people say

Hear from the team about life at Halo and why they love what they do.
    Martin,  Bodyshop Manager, Westbury
I started my journey with Halo in 2017 as a Driver, a role I loved. Seeking a new challenge, I was considered for a Bodyshop manager position in 2022 and after a successful trial, I knew it was the perfect fit. Leading a fantastic team and delivering high-quality repairs has been incredibly rewarding. Being name Halo’s Bodyshop Manager of the Year in 2024 is an honour, especially as I had no prior Bodyshop experience.
    Rick,  Technical Manager
I have been with Halo for 15 years and have no plans on leaving until I retire! They obviously expect hard work, quality and a high level of care from staff (which I respect and admire) and this dedication has helped the company go from strength to strength. Halo have been very supportive of me - both in my career, and on a personal basis over the years and I am thankful for that. If you have the passion to perform and work hard they are a great company to work for.
    Tom,  Southern Operations Manager
Halo is an inspiring place where new ideas are always encouraged, and innovation is at the heart of everything we do. There’s a real buzz around pushing boundaries, taking on new challenges and constantly improving. It’s exciting to be part of something that’s always evolving and making a real difference that’s recognised within the industry.
    Kwame,  Painter, Guildford
Welcome to Halo, I joined in March 2023 as a Painter. Working at Halo is incredibly an extraordinary experience, it’s a place where collaboration, innovation, and support truly comes to life. The culture here encourages growth, and the people are genuinely committed to making a difference. I’m excited for you to be part of this journey with us!
    Barry,  IT & Central Support
I have worked at Halo for the past 17 years, and my journey here has been rewarding. Throughout my time, I have had the opportunity to take on various roles, including Health & Safety, Claims, Invoicing, Compliance, Insurance, and IT. This varied experience has not only broadened my skill set but also kept my work engaging, fulfilling, making it a place where I feel proud to contribute. Overall, my experience at Halo has been positive, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to the company's success.
    Nina,  Claims Team
I joined in September 2024 as Switchboard Operator. The training I had was amazing. The team I work with made me feel welcome and have all supported me from the start. You are also supported by management at any point that you need assistance or someone to have a chat with.
    Arif,  Mobile Bodyshop Manager, North
I’m Arif and I joined in as a Driver in June 2023. I’ve liked working at Halo since the day I joined. I’ve been given support from different areas within business which is very inspiring. I am now a Mobile Bodyshop Manager for the North Region and my role is amazing. I see Halo as part of my family group.
